  • Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story - by Shadow Man-X

    Introduction:

From the fantastic film based on his life comes this action packed game translation for you SNES by Virgin Entertainment! This game is based on the popular one-on-one fighting game genre. You must help Bruce 'fight' his way through life.

    Graphics [8/10]:

The character animation is pretty good as you can expect from the Super Nintendo's FX chips, even Bruce's pants look like silk, his opponents also have great animation, especially the deadly Demon that comes to finish bruce off. The backgrounds are the best part, though, with a realistic look sun in the title screen.

    Game Play [9/10]:

It's a standard Streetfighter lookalike with not so devastating moves (You can't throw fireballs or anything like that), but if you get enough power, Bruce can pull out a nasty set of nunchuks to nail his enemies. Be careful though, the baddies have their own array of killer moves.

    Music and Sound [10/10]:

Definatley the most striking feature of the game, with realistic punches, kicks, and speech samples. Bruce 'howls' whenever he kills a guy. There's a sound test mode to check 'em out. Just great.

    Challenge and Replay [6/10]:

Once you find out all the moves and finish the game, it will reach the bottom of your game library. It's pretty easy, since you can beat your enemies by using nunchuks, or hyper mode.

    Conclusion/Overall [7/10]:

Not a bad game to fill in a rainy day, and the three player match is a wild fight! (You need a multi-tap and three controllers) you can practice special moves on your best friends. Get it if you're a fighting game fan.
